In his latest project, Hysterical Literature, photographer Clayton Cubitt takes a beautiful woman, places her at a table in front of a black backdrop and gets her to read from her favorite book while an unseen accomplice below the table attempts to bring the woman to orgasm with a vibrator. The results are an intimate, sexy experience that captures a beauty rarely found in most modern pornography. (No nudity, but obviously NSFW.)
I totally agree with her. It's hot as hell.

"Chances are the average Internet-goer hadn't heard of Arlen's Transmission in Burbank, Calif., before before this week. Now the local auto-repair shop is the talk of the web — or at least some of its more offbeat corners."
You may be cool, but you'll never be THIS cool.
On July 19, 2012, an amazingly beautiful (and apparently uncommon) solar eruption occurred, exhibiting all 3 types of solar "flare" activity: 1) a solar flare, 2) coronal mass ejection, and 3) complex moving structures in association with changes in magnetic field lines that loop up into the Sun's atmosphere, the corona.
This is not CGI.

An evil clown and a chainsaw-wielding killer drown in a sea of despair. Sounds like some freaky horror movie stuff, no? Wait it out...
Apparently, at about 09:30 local time, a very big meteor burned up over Chelyabinsk, a city in Russia just east of the Ural mountains, and about 1500 kilometers east of Moscow.

This is why the Internet was made. 360° Interactive helicopter camera over Kamchatka's four volcanoes that just recently exploded.
Being a loose cannon who does not play by the rules the first thing I did was ignore the warning and smear this all over my knob and bollocks. The bollocks I knew and loved are gone now. In their place is a maroon coloured bag of agony which sends stabs of pain up my body every time it grazes against my thigh or an article of clothing.
Words of warning on this depilatory creme from across the pond.

The fine rhymes and masterful wordplay had me enraptured, but the ending filled me with joy.

The moon will block the sun in a unique solar eclipse on Sunday, offering a potentially dazzling solar sight for skywatchers in parts of Asia and North America. But if you live anywhere else on the planet, don't fret – you can watch the solar eclipse online, too. And there are many webcasts to choose from.

Chris DePrisco is the head of product development at the Automated Laser Corporation. One day he was testing the company’s 20 watt fiber laser by cutting grid-shaped patterns and realized that if he changed the speed and fill spacing of the laser, it began to make different tones. While many of us would find that interesting and then go on about our day, DePrisco is not a normal man.
Last August, a few members of our Brazil and U.S. Street View and Google Earth Outreach teams were invited to the Amazon Basin to collect ground-level images of the rivers, forest and communities in the Rio Negro Reserve. Today, on World Forest Day, we’re making those images available through the Street View feature on Google Maps. Now anyone can experience the beauty and diversity of the Amazon.

Ya know, I don't camp at all anymore, but this looks so handy to have around in case of emergency that I might just have to get one. Anyone that does camp, on the other hand, will probably snap these up in a heartbeat.

Out of an estimated 1,500 active volcanoes around the world, 50 or so erupt every year, spewing steam, ash, toxic gases, and lava. In 2011, active volcanoes included Chile's Puyehue, Japan's Shinmoedake, Indonesia's Lokon, Iceland's Grímsvötn, Italy's Etna, and recently Nyamulagira in the Democratic Republic of Congo. In Hawaii, Kilauea continues to send lava flowing toward the sea, and the ocean floor has been erupting near the Canary Islands.
